You can follow this tutorial to find out the brand name
and model of the hard disk on your computer using Windows Device Manager.
1. Search and run "Device Manage". You see a list of all devices on your computer.
2. Click and open "Disk drives". You see your hard disk listed there.
3. Click on the hard disk name for example, "WD5000LPLX-08ZNT SCSI Disk Device". You see more details about the hard disk.
4. Search "WD5000LPLX-08ZNT" on the Internet. You will get the brand name and model as: "Western Digital - WD5000LPLX-08ZNT".
