How to configure L2TP VPN client on iPhone?

If you have a L2TP server configured with the following connection information, you can follow this tutorial to configure a L2TP VPN client on your iPhone to connect to this server.

Server IP:       113.97.237.5
Service Type:    L2TP
IPsec Enabled:   Yes
Pre-shared Key:  retnecIYF
User Name:       fyi
Password:        DontTellAnyOne

1. On iPhone, go to "Settings > VPN" to open the VPN settings.

2. Tap "Add VPN Configuration" and enter the following:

Type:             L2TP 
Description:      My VPN
Server:           113.97.237.5
Account:          fyi
RSA SecurID:      Off 
Password:         DontTellAnyOne
Secret:           retnecIYF
Send All Traffic: On

3. Tap "Done" to save the configuration. You see "My VPN" listed on the screen.

4. Select "My VPN" and switch the "Connected" button.

5. Wait for the connection to be established.

Now you iPhone is connected to the give VPN server. And all network connections (WAN and LAN) are going through this VPN connection.
