If you want to distribute multiple objects equally in vertical or horizontal directions, you can follow this tutorial.

1. Select multiple objects.

2. Click "Modify > Distribution" menu. You see distribution options: Left, Center, Spacing, Right horizontally and Top, Center, Spacing, Bottom vertically.

3. Select "Horizontal > Center". You see all selected objects move horizontally to be equally spaced.
